Requirements for Documents and Age for Car Rental

To rent a car from Travel Cars, you must present the following documents and meet the age requirements.

1. Required Documents
   • When signing the rental agreement, you must present original copies of the following documents:
     • Driver’s license – valid for at least two years before the rental date.
     • If the license was not issued by an EU member state, an official English translation or an International Driving Permit (IDP) is required.
     • National ID card (for EU citizens) or international passport – the document must include the current address.
     • If the current address is not stated, Travel Cars reserves the right to request an additional document for address verification.
     • Additional documents – if necessary, a second document may be required to confirm the address.
2. Age Requirements
   • 25 – 75 years old – you can rent a vehicle from all categories.
   • 21 – 25 years old – you can rent a vehicle from the economy, compact, and standard categories. If you require a vehicle from a higher category, please contact us for additional conditions.
   • Under 21 years old – rental is possible with an additional fee. Please contact us for more information.
3. Additional Conditions
   • The renter must present original documents when signing the rental agreement.
   • If a second driver is added to the rental, the same requirements apply to the additional driver.
